General Manager Leigh first applied for the position at the tail end of 2018 when all the planning started. A long long time ago he worked in IT before “seeing the light” and moving across to hospitality. Since then he has worked in a large bar in Soho, gastro pubs in Fitzrovia and South Kensington, opened an off west end Theatre and worked in a country gastro pub before making his way to Crown and Treaty. His last two pubs have been a central part of the local community which he really enjoys. When not working he is normally out walking with his Beagle daisy who will no doubt be making few guest appearances at the Crown and Treaty.
Our Deputy Manager Sophie has lived in London most of her life before getting bitten by the hospitality bug, she worked in a pub in Fulham before moving to a gastro pub in South Kensington where she first worked with Leigh. Since then you may have found her behind the bar at the Windsor Castle in Kensington and at the Sun Inn Barnes … or propping up the bar in many other London pubs! Sophie loves all things Craft beer and will be lovingly curating our craft range at the Crown and Treaty.
Our Head Chef Peter has worked at a number of four star hotels and gastro pubs before joining us to work at the Crown and Treaty. He is passionate about preparing and cooking fresh food, makes a mean gravy and his homemade sticky toffee pudding is to die for!
When not at work Peter has a young family to keep him busy at home!
